Position Summary
NEPA Wholesale is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to support daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have accounting or bookkeeping experience and strong skills in managing financial records, payments, invoices, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and process invoices, record payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping entries.
- Track expenses and prepare financial reports.
- Use QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software to organize and review financial data.
- Assist with month-end closing and other accounting tasks as needed.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve accounting issues.
- Handle confidential financial information professionally.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience using QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
- Ability to prepare financial reports, track expenses, and manage invoices.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and professional, with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Fluent English required; Hindi or Nepali language skills are a plus.
- Experience in wholesale or distribution businesses is preferred.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
